It was Friday evening. After buying new Asus Zenfone 5, I was busy in experimenting with my new Android buddy. After doing system updates and restarting, I suddenly found that I was automatically logged out of the Facebook Android App & Facebook Messenger. I wondered how it could have happened. First, I thought, its because of clean master (my favourite mobile cleaner). Since I’ve pretty bad habit of running clean master after interval of few minutes, I thought that must be the reason :p. But I was wrong.
I’m pretty sure that you must have thought of similar reasons behind the question: Why Facebook App Logged Me Out? Here, I’m going to tell you the real reason behind this bug and its solution. Firstly, its not because of the CleanMaster or any other cleaning app, I neither changed my password, the facebook was working fine. But this issue mostly arises due to wrong memory management of the Facebook Android App itself.
Facebook Android App and Messenger Automatic Logout Reason
The reason lies of facebook app logout problem is in moving the official Facebook app for Android to the external storage. If you’ve inserted an external SD card of any capacity and moved your Facebook app there, then it may give you problems like automatic logout. Or If you reopen the app after some time then you may have to re-login again. Since some Facbook Code is made only to work while app lies in internal storage. They have solved this problem in later versions.
Solution to Facebook App Logout Problem
The solution for this popular Facebook problem is to move the app into internal storage. Just follow the steps given below:
- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All Apps
- Tap on the Facebook App.
- Move the app to the internal storage entirely.
- Restart the phone.
- Login again.
- After spending some time, Close the app.
- Restart the phone
- Wola! You are done.
- If you open the Facebook or Facebook Messenger Android App this time then you will be able to login automatically without entering that so lonnnnngggg email ID and password combo.
- Enjoy Facebooking. Try by moving into external storage
Follow same steps for Facebook Messenger and any other app which is giving you problem.
