TechnoClever Practical tech

The author

Hello, I'm Amey.

I’m a senior computer programmer at Data-Core Systems, currently building software for public-sector services. My work has taken me from Android and Flutter apps to enterprise platforms, blockchain projects, and technical project leadership. I started TechnoClever in 2012 to share practical answers to everyday tech problems; it’s still where I write about the tools and products people actually use.

The blog

TechnoClever, since 2012

I started TechnoClever in 2012 after spending too much time looking for straightforward answers about phones, internet plans, and apps. The first posts went up in 2014: practical fixes for the devices and services people around me were using every day.

Since then, I’ve worked on mobile products, public-sector software, blockchain projects, and digital tools for businesses. The blog is the other side of that work: a place to explain what I’ve learned without turning a simple fix into a lecture.

Outside code, I sing Indian classical music and write poetry. When I’m back at the keyboard, I’m usually trying to make technology a little easier to understand and use.

Off the clock

I sing, too.

Whenever I’m not coding, I’m usually singing. I trained in Indian classical music, and it’s the one hobby that has survived every job change, every city move and every deadline season. There is something about the discipline of a raga — repeating a phrase until it sits exactly right — that maps neatly onto debugging, except the audience is better dressed.

I’ve performed with ensembles at devotional and cultural music events, and I still write poetry in the margins. If a post here ever reads like it was written by someone with an ear for rhythm, now you know why.
